For the price, you really can’t go wrong. I bought my low end Logitech at Walmart (can you get any cheaper?) for $16, I think, and it just has the right/left click and a basic scrolland a click-click sound when you use it. AND I have to make sure I have fresh AA batteries in the house in case that’s the day it dies.
This one just needs to be plugged into a wall socket. Or even your computer, to charge. And it has no click sound, just the soft, muted sound of being compressed. It has the traditional keys, but since it’s a gaming mouse, it also has three hot keys. The two on the side can also function as a page, back/forward button. The color cycles through, so at any second it could be something new.

If you aren’t into the light show, you can turn that off independently. But my son loves anything with pizzazz, so it stays on for us.
