Got an abit a-n68sv which will post only once Can get into cmos and change everything to off and basics but when saved and restarts just powers off and wont start again until the cmos has been reset, just spins cpu fan for split second then powers off until cmos reset. Tried all settings, swapped cpu, memory, psu, all work fine. Not sure if can flash bios without going into bios first. Is the a key press bypasssing post or bios? Once cmos reset, get default setting loaded, f1 to continue, which then powers off and have to reset cmos, del to enter bios, ok until saved and restarted. Have you tried using 'load setup defaults' in the BIOS.

Are you able to load windows at all? Software to create timeline from excel data for mac. In your BIOS is there an option to update the BIOS? That method requires you to put the BIOS bin file on a usb drive and flash through the BIOS. Make sure you have the exact bin file that pertains to your board, use the bios flash method (if avaiable) and update the BIOS. Once updated you will reboot and enter BIOS and load setup defaults to complete the flash. Under no circumsatances update the BIOS through Windows!
