I've been using osx86 for 4 months now. And i'm quite pleased with it. It does everything windows does, plus a bit more. Well, the fact is, since i installed it. I changed a lot my computer. From adding RAM to buying a new video card. And the only thing that still s u c k s is the fact that the PC is a little old, and the mobo is a 4 year-old ECS P4S5A, with SiS chipset, and i can't get the IDE controller to function.

The HD writing/reading speed is nearly disgusting. Using osX for web and other things is OK, but it's just I try to copy a file from one partition to another, and everything messes up.

The specs of the mobo is: ECS P4S5A SiS chipset north bridge: SiS 645 south bridge: SiS 961 I already tried some tutorials and kexts avaliable here in other topics. But none of them seems to work.
