Today, I’m really sad that I had to come back here and withdraw the stars that I had given it, and give a very different review. The game has always used a series of what is basically known as Behavioral Economics principles to cunningly push users to play more and to pay more. The owners have now officially pushed way past the limits of decency, and I really hope it backfires on them strongly, because at the bottom of it, it is insulting and rude to be treated like a cash cow, regardless of how nice the farm may be! They heard user complaints recently, btw, and started to add more to “positive feedback” like rewards and so on. Balance of pay or no-pay has been lost Very good game (and decent updates / new maps) but developers have, over the last 12 months, dramatically lurched towards selling certain Premium Tanks that are 10-20% better than standard tanks and the cost of the tank is commensurate to how much of an advantage it gives (or the developers use a purchase of crates system). This is most noticeable in Tier VII and Tier VIII, and less an issue for lower tiers so I still give the game 4 stars. At the higher levels there are also advantages to buy such as permanent effect cammoflauge (legendary cammo) etc., i.e. Money advantage.

In the first few years of the game this was not the case and standard tanks were equal to any premium tank (with rare exceptions, some due to mistakes rather than a culture of 'buy better tanks'). The second issue is that the developers are not dealing effectively with AFK players and autoBot players. Any player under 40% is clearly an autoBot and should be cancelled. Hope the developers change direction and revert to a game I can fully recommend. By the way, Asia server almost dead now at some points during the day. Maybe loss of players is the reason for the current culture change.
